Xunjian Yin
(Xunjian is pronounced as Shoon-Jen)

Hi! I am a CS PhD student at Duke University, supervised by Prof. Shuyan Zhou. Previously, I received my master's and bachelor's degree from Peking University under the supervision of Prof. Xiaojun Wan. I worked as an intern at Microsoft. I also worked at UCSB NLP Group, advised by Prof. William Yang Wang.

Research: I aim to make models more generalizable across real-world tasks. I believe that recursive self-improvement is the path to general intelligence. I am currently working on self-referential agents and world models.

I believe in using methods that are simple, scalable, generalizable, and graceful.
